With her comprehensive educational profile earned from prominent academic institutions, Kelly Gordon Rogers has successfully established a stable career in the premium music scene. She completed her studies in clarinet playing at the Indiana University where she attended with Howard Klug and James Campbell, some of the notable orchestra musicians today. She then earned her bachelor’s degree in Music for clarinet performance at the University of Central Arkansas. In this famous university, she happened to attend classes with renowned musicians like Kristina Belisle-Jones and Maureen Hurd Hause. Later on, she went back to the Indiana University to pursue her master studies in music for clarinet performance.

Adding to Rogers’ extensive academic background is degree earned in historical clarinet from the famous Early Music Institute of Indiana University. Her main purpose for pursuing such study was to extend her music appreciation and so that she will be able to effectively share her knowledge and skills to aspiring musicians. In the said University, Kelly Gordon Rogers joined classes with Eric Hoeprich, one of the most respected classical musicians of present times.

During the early stage of Roger’s music career, she was lucky enough to become part of the major performances of several well-known orchestra groups in the country. Some of these groups are the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, and Bloomington Pops Orchestra. When she joined the 2002 Concerto Competition, she successfully grabbed the championship title as the soloist for the University of Central Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Other than that, she was also too fortunate to collaborate with several noble orchestra conductors like Stephen Pratt, William Revelli, and Ray Cramer on their live performances. She even shared the concert stage with acclaimed orchestra musicians like Arturo Sandoval, Dominic Spera, and Ray Charles.

In the last couple of years, among the most significant accomplishments of Kelly G. Rogers is the completion of “Ensemble Enigma”, which is a collection of her clarinet masterpieces. Rogers performed each of the astounding clarinet pieces in this collection during her concerts in Japan and in several US states. The “A Transfigured Night” was among her most remarkable concert performances where she was able to fill the Auditorium of Columbus East high School. Additionally, Rogers’s CD version of “Ensemble Enigma” is now ready for launching to the global audience. This much awaited CD compilation will feature some of Schoenberg’s masterpieces including “Elgar’s Enigma Variations” and “Verklarte Nacht”.
